In our class we are movers and makers, thinkers and doers. We are readers, writers, scientists, naturalists, environmentalists, historians, mathematicians, and many more things. We stretch our thinking and creativity and build on our strengths to learn new things.

Our class is using common core curriculum to broaden our understanding of math and reading. We use hands on science activities to learn about the world around us. But more than anything, in our class we read, read, and read some more.

Some of our units of study this year include American symbols, holidays around the world, famous Americans, air and weather, animals, sound, and the rain forest. We look forward to year filled with fun and learning!
